Belfort Furniture's Senior Designer Stefani Arnold worked together with her Alexandria, Virginia client to create a look that flowed through each space of her home and expressed the client's personality. Similarly to many design clients, this Belfort customer purchased her home for its beautiful location and wanted to update the look inside to match her style.

Transforming her interiors into a modern, sophisticated space proved to be a beautiful finished product with pieces from many different brands.  This living room makeover incorporates seating from BMod, Vanguard, Bernhardt, and Huntington House!

Trusting Stefani's expertise, the client fell in love when she walked barefoot across the Shibui rug by Surya with a soft, supple texture. This rug clearly grounded the space and provided the high end look the client was after on a reasonable budget.

Stefani exceeded the client's expectations with the leather-top cocktail table and unique end table by Drexel Heritage.

This unique home also provided a challenge when it came to privacy. Stefani was able to overcome this issue with the use of Hunter Douglas Skyline Panels.  These panels stack to the side for the view and are a clean design that allows for privacy when drawn closed.

The use of sleek, clean lines throughout the furniture choices in this room helps to update the look to a contemporary appeal.  Metal accents on the side chairs add to the cool palette of this family room.

Upstairs, the client needed a few updates to their master bedroom and sitting room.  The right rug choice, window treatments, and a comfortable and inviting seating area did the trick!
