As we’re still celebrating the week of President’s Day we’re also ready to celebrate George Washington’s birthday tomorrow, February 22nd - and the first thing that comes to mind is that famous Cherry Tree!  The story cites that as a child Washington cut down his father’s cherry tree and admitted to his wrong-doing by saying “I can’t tell a lie, Pa.”  Whether the story is true or not, we like to believe it’s a great moral lesson to teach children and one that inspires us to find some great cherry wood around our showroom!  What could be better than Solid Cherry Wood Furniture in honor of George Washington’s Birthday (and perhaps some Cherry pie!).
